Reasonably practicable terrain for me (72 years and 100 Kgs). I bagged two beautiful chamois. The accompanying hunting guards – polite, friendly and very professional. Abundant chamois.

We stayed three nights in a comfortable and quiet chateau, good cuisine and service.

“Bulgarien ist mein liebstes Jagdland geworden. Schon seit vielen Jahren werden unsere Jagden durch Vera organisiert. Mit der Landung in Sofia fängt der Urlaub an und man kann sich allen Reizen dieses liebenswerten Landes hingeben. Am Flughafen erwartet uns immer ein freundliches und kompetentes Bodenpersonal und Vera ist zur Stelle, sollte es  Probleme geben.

Die Organisation der Jagden ist vorbildlich und die Unterkunft lässt keine Wünsche offen. Ich war jetzt mehrmals in Chekeritza zur Niederwildjagd. Eine von Vera kurzfristig organsierte Drückjagd erfüllte mir einen langjährigen Wunsch: Mein erster Goldschakal.

Zu den Berufsjägern besteht ein kameradschaftliches und freundschaftliches Verhältnis. Nicht zur vergessen das Küchenpersonal in erster Reihe mit Maria, die für die kulinarische Versorgung zuständig ist und sich ständig selbst übertrifft. Vera ist immer als Dolmetscherin vor Ort und sorgt für eine reibungslose Kommunikation.

Auch in Macedonien zur Reb- und Steinhuhnjagd waren wir mit der Organisation durch Vera und dem Revier einschließlich des Berufsjägers sehr zufrieden. In der Jagdzeitschrift HUNTER’S PATH Nr. 4 (in englischer Sprache) und JAGDZEIT international Nr. 15 (in deutscher Sprache) sind Berichte über diese Reise zu finden.

“Bulgaria has become my favorite hunting country. Our hunts have been organized by Vera for many years. The holiday begins with the landing in Sofia and you can indulge in all the charms of this lovely country. At the airport we always have a friendly and competent ground staff and Vera is on hand if there would be any problems.

The organization of the hunts is great and the accommodation leaves nothing to be desired. I have now been to Chekeritza for small game hunting several times. A driven hunt organized by Vera at short notice fulfilled a long-standing wish: my first gold jackal.

There is a comradely and friendly relationship with the professional hunters. Not to forget the kitchen staff, first and foremost, with Maria, who is responsible for the culinary care and constantly outdoes herself. Vera is always on site as an interpreter and ensures smooth communication.
