In this case, special permission for its hunting is issued from the Ministry of Environment and Waters.
Ways of hunting
Predators can be hunted all year round, but the best time is during the winter months when the snow favors the tracking of the animals and its fur is better at that time of the year.
Predators are hunted in individual or group hunting by stalking, from high seat with bait, ambush hunting, driven hunts or during another game`s hunting.
Hunting by high stand is organized in the evening. Carrions or carcass are put as bait in front of the high stand. Waiting time depends on the season and the visibility. Usually from 3-4 hours to all night waiting is needed. This requires from hunter to be very patient and silent as predators have highly developed senses.
Hunting by stalking is organized in the morning or in the evening for about 3-4 hours. The routes are chosen according to the terrain and the passages of the animals.
Predators are also successfully hunted on driven hunt or during wild boar driven hunt.
Combination with other game species
Usually, predators can be combined with wild boars, mouflons or other species available at the same hunting ground and period.
