About

My Story.
My Mission.

Hi, my name is Vera Anastassova and I created Vera Hunting Adventures for all hunters who are looking for pleasant and successful hunting trips in Bulgaria and abroad. My mission is to take care of my clients offering them what they need to create together their best hunting trip.

The BEGINNING

I started working in hunting tourism by chance. It was 20 years ago and before that, I didn’t even know that this kind of tourism existed! All I knew about hunting was from my father who was a hunter practicing his favorite hobby only in our home area. At that time, I couldn’t imagine that people could travel all over the world for hunting! And this was a whole new world for me!

As I love to be in nature, to travel, to communicate with people and to take care of others, I was fascinated that I could combine it and do it for a living! And most importantly – it was (and still it is) a win-win situation!

INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE

In the beginning, I was working only in the office dealing with administrative tasks, papers, programs, hunting organization and trophies shipment. Then I started traveling with hunting groups to different hunting grounds in Bulgaria and Europe until gaining enough experience and self-confidence to do it on my own and in my own way! My aim is not to organize simple hunting trips, but to create together with my clients’ happy memories that last. I admit – I`m happy when my clients are happy 🙂

Travel and hunting organization

Once someone has trusted me to organize his hunting trip, I believe he shouldn’t have to worry about anything else. It`s my job to make sure everything goes smoothly and to solve any issue that may arise in a discrete and professional manner. The hunters only have to take care of feeling good and enjoying hunting! And we will enjoy organizing it for them!

We are hunting woodcocks in Bulgaria with Vera several consecutive years and we have always had a great time. She is a lovely person, as are all the people working in the hunting ground. The hunting areas are exceptional and we have enjoyed hunting there a lot together with my family, my friends, and our dogs. We will be back soon!
